Your support will help us offer affordable classes to the community (and also support local teaching creatives) in our Creative Community Workshop series this spring.

It’s time for the annual event celebrating the Valley Arts District! Live music, delicious food from neighborhood establishments, a wine bar, art, and both silent and live auctions come together for one amazing evening for both residents and visitors to the district.
Last year, local restaurants such as Hat City Kitchen, Libretti’s, and Southern Comfort Cafe provided food and bands played throughout the night, interspersed with presentations from movers and shakers in the community. This year’s event will have a similar format - but with some notable additions and surprises.
Community Spirit raises money for projects in the Valley Arts District such as signage, gardens and plantings, art installations, and community events. This year’s event will take place in the courtyard of the ValleyArts Creative Cooperative building and will raise funds to continue efforts for gardens and plantings, identifying banners and signs, resident-created murals, and a way finding project.
Mark your calendar to attend the celebration on Friday, September 15, 2017. Tickets are available at Brown Paper Tickets. You can also support the event and the Valley Arts District through donations of goods and services and by spreading the word about this amazing evening.
A coalition of organizations are joining together in fundraising to beautify the Valley Arts District. We will be adding murals, signage and greenery to further bring to life this unique space for artists, creative entrepreneurs, residents, businesses and all that participate in the celebration of community in the Valley Arts District. 50% of proceeds go the Valley Beautification Fund and 50% to the Valley Non-profits.
