Meet Otto Neals and join a lively discussion of his work led by Nigel Freeman, director of African American fine art at New York’s Swann Auction Galleries.
About the Artist
A beloved son of South Carolina and Brooklyn, artist Otto Neals has made an outsized impact through his paintings, sculptures, and prints that capture life in America over several generations.
His powerful work resides in many collections, public and private,
including the Smithsonian Institute, Library of Congress, Studio
Museum Harlem, Ghana National Museum, Columbia (S.C.) Museum,
and the collections of Hon. John Lewis, Mayor David Dinkins, Randy
Weston, Hon. Bruce Wright, Harry Belafonte, Dr. Ute Wachsmann,
Hon. Una Clarke, and Oprah Winfrey.
